Emergency department at Hirslanden Klinik, Stephanshorn

The planning of the ward for Hirslanden Klinik Stephanshorn was based on a modular principle. The emergency room was designed individually, taking into account its functional purpose and specific requirements.

Due to the location of the site on a slope, the entrance to the department is organized at ground level from the rear entrance. From the main entrance of the clinic, it is located on the second floor. The main building and the new wing are connected by passageways on each level, ensuring a smooth and almost imperceptible transition between the parts of the complex. The new volume is distinguished only by its modern design.
