Corjon superstructure, Nyon
The project involved the superstructure of an existing medical building while the facility remained in continuous operation. The main challenges were: the inability to suspend hospital operations, difficult access to the roof, increased occupational safety requirements, and the need to completely eliminate the risk of water entering the building during installation work.
These challenges were overcome thanks to the extremely short construction period for the load-bearing structures—just three days. The roof and wall elements were manufactured at the factory in Oberriet SG with a high degree of prefabrication and delivered to the site for quick installation without lengthy wet processes.
The building was commissioned just 15 weeks after the contract was signed.
