The building was constructed in 2007, after which it was used by two different customers. In 2010, the facility was installed for the third time for Stiftung Alterssiedlung im Bodmer in Chur.

Before reassembly, additional fire safety measures were implemented and a large terrace was added. During the renovation of the main building, the building was used as a ward for people with dementia, accommodating 53 residents.

In 2012, the temporary structure was dismantled and reinstalled in Münsterlingen, where it is now in its fourth year of operation.
