Accommodation for asylum seekers in Kaiseraugst and Urdorf
A modular facility for housing asylum seekers with a corrugated metal profile facade has been implemented. The two-story building has a total area of 620 m² (280 m² on the first floor and 310 m² on the second).
There are 9 apartments, each with its own kitchen and bathroom, as well as office, laundry, and technical rooms. The building was constructed from 20 prefabricated modules. The structure has a gable roof with a 20° slope and tile covering, and a foundation with a fully accessible technical basement.
Heating is provided by an air-to-water heat pump. The roof is prepared for the installation of a photovoltaic system.
Thanks to the high level of factory readiness, installation and handover of the facility were completed in 15 working days. Similar buildings were erected in Kaiseraugst in 2007 and nearby in 2009.
