Temporary buildings for the Swiss Paraplegic Center Nottwil
The Schweizer Paraplegiker-Zentrum Nottwil (SPZ) is a private specialist clinic recognized at European level that provides primary care and comprehensive rehabilitation for patients with spinal cord injuries. In addition to medical and therapeutic services, the center provides consultations and conducts research in the field of paraplegia and prevention.
As part of the large-scale expansion of the center, there was a need for a temporary pain clinic and workshops. This demand was met by building a temporary pain medicine center and ZSM chiropractic practice, as well as a workshop for Orthotec, a specialist in wheelchairs and technical aids.
Despite their temporary nature, the buildings have a high standard of finish and meet medical requirements.
Key features of the project
- Full accessibility for wheelchair users
- Combining medical offices, office space, and workshops under one roof
