On the slope above Montlingen, a building has appeared that has become not just a new educational space, but an important part of the local landscape. It organically combines the natural environment with residential development, forming a clear transition between the village and its surroundings. The architectural proportions, thoughtful layout, and use of natural materials create a sense of harmony while giving new impetus to the community's development.

The construction of the school and music complex was a significant step for the community towards sustainable and modern construction. The two-story building, constructed using timber frame technology, combines energy efficiency, speed of construction, and flexibility in the use of space.

The modular structure makes it easy to adapt or expand the building to meet future needs. Automated sun protection, heating, and lighting control systems, together with a photovoltaic installation on the roof, minimize energy consumption and operating costs. The use of environmentally friendly materials ensures a healthy microclimate and helps reduce environmental impact. It is a space where functionality, sustainability, and quality are combined into a holistic concept.

A space for children and music

Two worlds are combined under one roof—lively childhood discovery and focused music education. The first floor houses the bright and comfortable rooms of the kindergarten, while the second floor provides the ideal conditions for music rehearsals. The acoustic cassette ceiling ensures high sound quality, creates a calm atmosphere, and adds expressiveness to the interior.

The space for children is clearly structured: it includes both active play areas and places for quiet relaxation. Flexible mobile elements allow the environment to be quickly transformed to suit the needs of young users.

Consistency, flexibility, future orientation

The building is based on a modern wooden load-bearing structure that combines environmental responsibility with high efficiency. Thanks to its modular design, the building can be easily expanded or redesigned in the future. Intelligent engineering systems reduce energy consumption, and solar panels partially supply the facility with its own power generation. Natural materials and a well-thought-out architectural concept create a healthy indoor microclimate and guarantee long-term operational quality.
