Project Chief Engineer (Construction, Modular Homes, Lviv)

We are looking for a motivated, responsible, and proactive professional to join our team in Lviv for the position of Chief Project Engineer (CPE). Responsibility for the comprehensive coordination and management of all project work within a construction project. Ensuring cost-effective, timely, technically sound, and permit-compliant design across all disciplines in Ukraine. Readiness to participate in project support in Europe is also required.

Candidate responsibilities:

Project coordination:

• Full responsibility for the design process at all stages

• Coordination of internal and external designers
• Ensuring consistency between architecture, structural design, engineering, fire safety, and other disciplines
• Quality, schedule, and budget control for project work

Technical responsibility:

• Review of project documentation (completeness, accuracy, feasibility)
• Identifying and Resolving Technical Issues
• Ensuring compliance with regulations, standards, and the requirements of permits and licenses
• Participation in the development of technical solutions and project optimization

Communication and Interaction:

• Primary point of contact for the client, government agencies, and partners

• Holding coordination meetings
• Recording decisions, statuses, and open issues
• Interaction with contractors during the planning and implementation phases

Project management:

• Planning and monitoring key design phases

• Participation in budgeting and evaluating changes
• Risk Management During the Design Phase
• Organizing the approval and amendment process

Requirements for applicants:

Professional:

• A college degree in construction or architecture
• Experience in a similar role (Senior Engineer or Lead Engineer)
• Experience in coordinating complex construction projects
• Knowledge of building codes and permitting procedures
• Experience with CAD/BIM (preferred)

• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Decision-making skills and accountability for results
• Systems thinking and a results-oriented approach
• Independence and organization in work
• Ability to work in a team and interact with people from different cultures

Languages:

• German — at least intermediate level (required)
• English — at least intermediate level
